The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in Java, microservices architecture, cloud platforms, and modern AI-enabled engineering practices.\r\nIn this role, you will:\r\nDesign and develop scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot\r\nBuild and optimize high-volume transactional systems\r\nDevelop event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar messaging platforms\r\nContribute to cloud-native solutions deployed on Azure, AWS, or GCP\r\nCollaborate with product, UX, and business teams to deliver customer-centric features\r\nImplement resilient, fault-tolerant distributed systems\r\nOptimize APIs for low latency and high throughput\r\nDrive DevOps best practices including CI/CD, observability, and monitoring\r\nIntegrate AI-driven capabilities such as recommendations, personalization, and intelligent workflows\r\nEnsure adherence to security, scalability, and performance best practices\r\nWho You Are\r\n5+ years of software engineering experience\r\nStrong expertise in\r\nJava (Java 11/17+)\r\nSpring Boot / Spring Cloud ecosystem\r\nMicroservices architecture\r\nExperience with\r\nREST APIs and distributed systems\r\nEvent-driven systems (Kafka, pub/sub)\r\nSQL & NoSQL databases\r\nHands-on experience with cloud platforms Microsoft Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP\r\nExperience building highly scalable systems (24x7 production systems)\r\nStrong understanding of\r\nData structures, algorithms, and design patterns\r\nAPI design and system integration\r\nAI & Modern Engineering Expectations (Must Have)\r\nExperience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar\r\nAbility to\r\nLeverage AI for code generation, testing, and debugging\r\nBuild or integrate AI/ML-driven features (recommendation engines, personalization, forecasting)\r\nApply prompt engineering and AI-assisted development workflows\r\nExposure to AI-enabled observability or automation is a plus\r\nNice to Have\r\nExperience with Kubernetes (AKS/EKS/GKE), Workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Temporal), GraphQL, Reactive programming\r\nKnowledge of eCommerce domains (catalog, pricing, promotions, OMS)\r\nExperience with edge computing or real-time decision engines\r\nSoft Skills\r\nStrong problem-solving and analytical abilities\r\nAbility to work effectively in a cross-functional, global team environment\r\nExcellent communication skills and ownership mindset\r\nExperience working in Agile environments\r\nTotal Rewards\r\nWe proudly offer competitive compensation, and a comprehensive and well-rounded benefits package for full-time employees that has been designed to nourish your well-being.
