You will work on a wide range of problems creating new capabilities and enhancing existing ones.\n\nResponsibilities:\nCollaborate with the Head of Product and Tech Lead in solving customer problems\nWork in an Agile software environment delivering iterative solutions and assisting in Code Reviews\nParticipate in discovery sessions aimed at solving though problems and translating solutions into software\nUtilize TDD / XP best practices\nClearly and concisely communicate work status, methods, instructions, problems, requirements, options, and concerns with team members, managers, and customers through various means\n\nTechnologies We Currently Use:\nPrimary: Node/JavaScript, Vue (front end), Elasticsearch, AWS\nAdditional: Python, Docker, Postgres, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, BitBucket)\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nPossess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related experience (at least 5 years)\nAt least 1 year of experience with Node.js and javascript based frontends\nExperience building cloud native REST based microservice APIs\nCoding knowledge and experience with several languages such as: Node, JavaScript, Vue, python, Java\nExperience in building Web Applications multi-tenant SaaS preferred\nExperience working in an Agile environment\nExperience in building DevOps pipelines for automated testing and deployment\nStrong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams\nStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team\nDemonstrated success in working proactively and collaboratively on multiple projects with simultaneous deadlines under fast-paced conditions; must be available to perform duties in high tempo environments\nAbility to clearly and concisely communicate work status, methods, instructions, problems, requirements, options, and concerns with team members, managers, and customers\nTDD / Extreme Programming Experience\nExperience working with web based mapping technologies\nStrong ability to plan, lead, and implement the successful completion of major project initiatives and efforts, as required\n\nDesired Qualifications:\nAt least 1 year of experience with CloudFormation, ElasticSearch / Open Search, Vue, AWS, Lambda, Step Functions, and API Gateway\nOther desirable technological experience: Elasticsearch, Docker, Machine Learning, NLP\n\nCompensation & Benefits:\nCompetitive salary, bonus plan, 401(k) matching, and equity potential\nHealthcare, dental, vision and life plans\nOpportunity to work in a fast-moving, high-growth SaaS company\nStrong, results-oriented culture\nHybrid work environment\nPaid time off\nPaid Parental Leave (16 Weeks Primary, 8 Secondary)\nTuition Reimbursement\nProfessional Development Stipend\n\nSeerist is an equal opportunity employer.
