If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\nThe “ Controller Assistant ” will be based in Memphis, Tennessee, reporting to the Controller.\nIn charge of financial statement preparation, financial investigations, budgets and forecasts in line with corporate policies and processes and legislative requirements in order to ensure financial reporting investigations and forecasts help business strategy and resolutions.\n\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nPrepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial management reports.\nParticipate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports.\nConduct ad hoc financial investigation for local management.\nPrepare receivables report as required.\nWork closely with operations and commercial teams to recognize the business and the impacts to the site financial position.\nPrepare weekly/month-end reports for business team.\nPrepare financial reports for regulators and Sarbanes Oxley compliance.\nHelp internal and external financial audits.\nAssist with managing the Accounting and costing departments.\nImplement appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.\n\nThe experience we are looking to add to our team:\nTypically requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business administration or related field or equivalent experience and training.\nA background in manufacturing/cost accounting is preferred.\nTypically requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience.\nDemonstrates advanced functional and technical skills and basic people and/or process management skills.\nDemonstrates advanced/ thorough knowledge of the function and Flex’s business.\nDemonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes, industries or functions and comprehension of relations of such processes at the site.\nWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:\nFull range of medical, dental, and vision plans\nLife Insurance\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\nMatching 401(k) Contributions\nVacation and Paid Sick Time\nTuition Reimbursement\nJob Category\nFinance\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
