We are a fast-growing, dynamic company seeking a Mechanical Assembly Lead to join our headquarters in City of Industry, CA.\r\nJob Summary:\r\nThe Mechanical Assembly Lead is responsible for actively participating in and coordinating mechanical assembly operations on the production floor. In addition to performing hands-on assembly tasks, the Lead supports a team of mechanical assemblers to ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety protocols are met. This role requires a strong mechanical background, leadership through example, and effective communication with both team members and management.\r\nEssential Functions:\r\nPerform mechanical assembly tasks in accordance with written instructions and specifications.\r\nCoordinate daily activities and task assignments within the mechanical assembly team.\r\nSupport team members by answering questions, clarifying instructions, and assisting with troubleshooting.\r\nEnsure any deviations from written instructions are documented and communicated to the floor supervisor and manufacturing engineer.\r\nHelp maintain production flow and meet schedule targets by working alongside the team.\r\nTrain and mentor new assemblers on tools, techniques, and safety procedures.\r\nConduct informal quality checks and help identify areas for improvement.\r\nCollaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues.\r\nMaintain clear documentation of assembly processes, deviations, and feedback.\r\nFoster a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment.Education and Experience:\r\n5+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or production operations\r\nExcellent organizational and time-management skills\r\nExperience working in a team-oriented manufacturing environment\r\nStrong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools, components, and assembly techniques\r\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and written instructions\r\nEffective communication and interpersonal skillsPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work:\r\nNon-exempt\r\nFull-Time\r\nHours: 7:00am- 3:30pm (Hours subject to change depending on the needs of the business)Benefits & Perks:\r\nExcellent medical, dental and vision benefits\r\n401K plan with 4% employer match\r\n11 paid holidays, 10 PTO days\r\nFree donuts on Fridays, company luncheons and year end party!Be part of a meaningful security mission with opportunities for personal and professional growth and development.
