This position will contribute to system architecture and hosting solutions while supporting both cloud-based and bare-metal infrastructure environments.\n\nThe DevOps Engineer will be responsible for configuring and maintaining Linux-based infrastructure and supporting ongoing operations and maintenance activities.\n\nJob Duties\n\nSupport the design and development of system architecture and hosting environments.\n\nSupport the development and implementation of infrastructure solutions.\n\nConfigure and maintain Linux-based systems and infrastructure.\n\nSupport cloud-based infrastructure environments.\n\nSupport bare-metal infrastructure environments.\n\nPerform ongoing operations and maintenance (O&M) activities.\n\nConfigure infrastructure to support system and program requirements.\n\nMaintain the availability and operational readiness of supported infrastructure.\n\nIdentify and troubleshoot infrastructure and system configuration issues.\n\nSupport changes, upgrades, and modifications to hosting environments.\n\nCoordinate infrastructure activities with technical and program stakeholders.\n\nMaintain documentation associated with system configurations and infrastructure environments.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nActive TS/SCI polygraph\n\n5+ years of relevant Linux, infrastructure, systems engineering, or DevOps experience.\n\nExperience supporting Linux-based infrastructure.\n\nExperience configuring and maintaining technical infrastructure environments.\n\nExperience supporting system architecture or hosting environments.\n\nExperience supporting cloud infrastructure.\n\nExperience supporting bare-metal infrastructure.\n\nExperience performing infrastructure operations and maintenance (O&M).\n\nAbility to troubleshoot Linux and infrastructure configuration issues.\n\nWorking at Edgesource\n\nAs an ISO 9001:2015 certified and CMMI Level 3 appraised small business, Edgesource specializes in providing a variety of technical solutions to include software development, database services, enterprise networking, data center virtualization, and management support.
