Certified Nurse AssistantSinging Hills Surgery Center is hiring a Certified Nurse AssistantWelcome to Singing Hills Surgery CenterSituated just north of San Antonio in Comal County. We have 2 OR rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Orthopedic, Pain Management, Spine. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.Certified Nurse Assistant at Singing Hill Surgery CenterThe CNA duties will include stocking Recovery Room bedsides, dressing patients, walking patients, assisting patients to the bathroom, answering call lights, answering phones and, assisting RN's as needed. This role will include transporting patients into the vehicles once they are discharged, Screening Questionnaires, cleaning/making beds, wiping down bedside areas, preparing linen bags if needed, monitor food supply level, stocking nourishment area and reporting when food is needed to be ordered.QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GEDCertified Nursing AssistantOne year experience directly related to duties and responsibilities specifiedKnowledge of patient care charts and patient historiesPatient Interviewing skillsAbility to perform standard clinical procedures according to established protocolsKnowledge of patient evaluation proceduresAbility to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standardsAbility to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patientUnderstands principles of aseptic technique and their implementationAt USPI, we create relationships that create better care.
