(must relocate to the area for the position)\nEssential Functions:\nUpdating, troubleshooting, and enhancing solutions within tools such as BMC Remedy, CA/Broadcom Spectrum, CA NFA, Splunk, OwnCloud, Infoblox, etc.\nDesigning and implementing new enterprise systems to meet emerging program requirements.\nStrong ability to step through complex problems and troubleshoot through to resolution.\nAutomating routine job functions in Python, BASH, or PowerShell as applicable.\nScheduling and executing maintenance requests for proactive engineering projects and break fix scenarios.\nInteracting directly with vendors for issue resolution.\nMonitoring, analyzing and troubleshooting daily status of the health of infrastructure and services within an operations center utilizing management and monitoring tools.\nSupport on-call responsibilities and work after-hours as required.\nAbility to impart knowledge and train others.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience; or 4 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a FAA public trust clearance.\nExperience in two or more of the following domains:\no Network monitoring protocols/methods such as SNMP, NetFlow, and Syslog.\no Implementation/Administration of one or more Network Management Systems (Splunk, CA/Broadcom Product Suite, BMC Remedy, IPAM, Infoblox, ownCloud).\no Networking principles and systems functionality, with the ability to troubleshoot OSI layers 1-7 throughout a COTS environment.\no Linux OS (RHEL/CentOS) and Microsoft Windows OS.\nPreferred Additional Skills:\nExperience adhering to deadlines and complete tasks on-schedule.\nWork well in a diverse team environment and with customers.\nKnowledge of scripting using shell, PHP, bash, and/or similar scripting languages.\nExperience with Agile software development and the systems engineering lifecycle.\nAbility to multi-task and prioritize projects according to business needs.\nKnowledge of Web Services APIs, Perl/Python scripting, Bash, Ansible.\nPreferred Certifications - Cisco CCNA; VMware VCA; RedHat RHCSA; Windows MCSA.\nMicrosoft Office Suite.\nPlease be aware many of our positions require the ability to obtain a security clearance.
