Salary within the posted range is determined based on an individual’s experience, education, certifications, and overall qualifications, and may be further adjusted based on benefit selections.\nJob Description:\nWe are looking for an Application Engineer to join our team supporting our customer. In this role, the engineer will design software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manage their implementation; manage software development and support using formal specifications,\ndata flow diagrams, and other accepted design techniques and Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools; estimate software development costs and schedule; review existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time and improving current techniques.\nAs an Engineer in this role, you will help monitor the heath and status of the analytic environment to perform security patching and updates, maintain up to date documentation, automate routine tasks through scripting., and evaluate and recommend solutions based on open source or commercial options.\nBasic Qualifications:\n8 years experience in system administration / software engineering\nExperience with Kubernetes\nExperience with Apache Spark\nExperience with Apache AirFlow\nExperience with Docker\nExperience with Container Management (Registry/Harbor)\nExperience with Linux\nExperience with AWS\nKnowledge of Cyber Security\nKnowledge of Networking (Routers/Firewalls)\nEducation Requirements:\nBachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field (w/o degree additional 2 yrs experience required; with Masters Degree 2 yrs less experience required\nBenefits:\n10% Employer Contribution to 401K; Immediately Vested\n5 Weeks Paid Time Off (PTO) up to 7 weeks\nAccess to Premium Healthcare/Dental/Vision Available\n$2500+ Training Paid\nReferral Company Profit Sharing\nWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
