Essential Responsibilities: Structure a learning environment that promotes child health and safety Plan and lead classroom instruction that is developmentally appropriate and meets the needs of children Actively engage with families to ensure parents/caregivers are knowledgeable about the child’s program Implement a developmentally appropriate daily schedule, including the incorporation of transitions and age-appropriate opportunities Create a safe, warm, and nurturing environment for students that is conducive to learning Support implementation of behavior plans and/or IFSP/IEP goals, as appropriate Essential Qualifications (Must have at least one) Credits toward a degree in Early Childhood Education Recent and/or extensive experience in an early childhood setting.
