The position is responsible for providing support and problem resolution for internal and customer-facing web-based applications.\nResponsibilities\nA successful candidate will be a self-motivated and self-managing person with good communication and problem-solving skills. This person will work directly with and for our Director of IT and Software Engineering. This position will be accountable for ensuring the uptime for both internal and customer-facing applications. This role presents an opportunity for rapid professional growth.\nPrimary point of contact to troubleshoot and resolve applications issues.\nResearching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions to resolve issues. Follow up with team members to ensure their systems are fully functional after troubleshooting.\nLog and provide detail notes of activity to troubleshoot and resolve issues.\nWork with team members within operations to understand business requirements to ensure that applications meet the needs of end-user(s).\nRecommend and work to implement enhancements or better efficiencies.\nAbility to communicate at a technical level appropriate to the circumstance – i.e.: varying levels of IT knowledge.\nCreate technical documentation for major company applications.\nQualifications and Skills\nBachelor's in information technology, operations, computer science, or engineering.\nAcademic and/or professional experience using Java, C++, C#, Python, or similar programming languages\nRelational Database (RDMS) knowledge (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc)\nAcademic or professional experience working with REST/API integrations\nMust have the desire to learn\nDemonstrated problem-solving and debugging skills\nExperience with writing technical and process documentation a plus.\n\nRate: $55,000 to $90,000 dependent on experience\nAbout Dupli\nDupli is a private, family-owned company and began as an envelope printing company focused on servicing major Colleges/Universities, Banks, Credit Unions and Insurance companies in upstate NY.
