We are emerging as one of the largest private talent sourcing and management firms in the US.\nOur client- one of the transit agency seeks an accomplished DevOps Architect\n\nJob Description\n\nRole:-DevOps Architect\nLocation: - Miami, FL\nDuration:-24 months (with a high possibility of extension)\nJob Responsibilities:-\nDesign and develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) to support Bid & Proposal efforts and on-going operations.\nDevOps leadership and IT Operations transformation experience with 80% packaged systems, 20% custom systems\nExperience with technical planning, deployment, integration, test/validation, and configuration of Commercial-off- the-Shelf (COTS), and custom software in both the Linux and Windows operating environments.\nStrong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment (AWS, Azure, VMware, etc.).\nLead technical solution development for Bid & Proposal efforts.\nCreate technical estimates to support Bid & Proposal efforts.\nSupport the development of reusable solutions for software intensive work efforts.\nJob Requirements:\nMinimum of 3 to 5 years design and implementation of Continuous Delivery and/or DevOps solutions or architecture patterns.\nMinimum of 3 to 5 years managing an IT Operations environment\nMinimum of 3 to 5 years’ hands on experience with code repository management, code merge and quality checks, continuous integration, and automated deployment & management using tools like Jenkins, SVN, Get, Chef, Ensile, Art factory, Service Now, Sonar, Selenium\nMinimum of 5 years of experience with approaches and tooling for automated build, delivery and release of software\nMinimum of 5 years’ experience with managing teams including progress monitoring and reporting\nMinimum of 5 year of experience working in an Agile delivery environment\nMinimum of 5 year of experience with Linux (writing shell scripts)\nMinimum of 3 years' experience in automation scripting using one or more of the following languages: Java, Perl, Ruby, or Python\nPreferred Skills:\n5 years of DevOps leadership and transformation experience\nEnvironment Monitoring tools\nCandidate should have experience leading a multi-disciplinary teams, working in a fast paced, high velocity agile environment\nApproaches and tooling for automated software assurance and QA.\nThe use of Public/Private cloud and Virtualization Technologies\nExperience with project or program management\nDefining and managing the roadmap for implementation of DevOps in an established operation.\nWorking within a structured environment, including the use of structured methods and approaches and modern development tools.\nExperience of technical architecture – i.e. the design and delivery of IT systems for a broad range of clients\nService support – the use of DevOps, Continuous Delivery and ITIL concepts to lead an effective support operation\nIn-depth knowledge of technology trends and standards, both from a business and technical viewpoints.\nCertifications in AWS or Azure highly preferred\n\nQualifications\n\nDesigning DevOps Architecture\n\nAdditional Information\n\nI would love to talk to you if you think this position suits your interest.\nIf you are looking for rewarding employment and a company that puts its employees first, we would like to work with you.
