This role ensures the effective implementation of maintenance strategies to maximize equipment availability and performance by leveraging technology, streamlining processes, and monitoring key performance indicators. The R&M Manager oversees site-level R&M Supervisors and fosters a culture of continuous improvement, proactive troubleshooting, and efficient resource management. Collaboration with Production, Sales, and other functional leaders is essential to support operational excellence and customer satisfaction. FUNCTIONS\n\nChampion Dolese’s Safety Always culture by encouraging proactive safety practices and reinforcing safety as a personal value.\n\nMaintain and audit facility safety records to ensure compliance with MSHA and company standards.\n\nLead root cause analyses of incidents and implement corrective actions to support the company goal of zero recordable injuries.\n\nSupport environmental compliance and reporting across assigned sites.\n\nManage all reliability and maintenance activities across multiple locations in alignment with company policies and procedures.\n\nDevelop and execute maintenance strategies to achieve equipment availability goals.\n\nMonitor and analyze KPIs such as OEE, mean time to repair, and mean time between failure.\n\nLead execution of capital projects and support long-term maintenance planning.\n\nProvide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities for R&M Supervisors and site-level teams.\n\nAssist with recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations.\n\nFoster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous learning.\n\nLead R&M continuous improvement initiatives and integrate Lean practices into daily operations.\n\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement reliability improvements.\n\nSupport the development of multi-year capital forecasts and cost justification for improvements.\n\nPartner with Production, Sales, and Technology teams to align maintenance capabilities with operational and customer needs.\n\nCollaborate with vendors to resolve issues, evaluate product performance, and optimize spare parts inventory.\n\nMaintain strong relationships with community stakeholders and external partners.\n\nPromote cross-functional teamwork and recognize contributions across the organization.\n\nEnsure consistent tracking and reporting of maintenance activities and financial indicators.\n\nAutomate reporting processes in collaboration with technology stakeholders.\n\nMaintain regular, reliable attendance at assigned work locations.\n\nPerform additional duties as needed to support safety, reliability, and team development.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n\nEducation & Experience\n\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.\n\nTen (10) years of progressively responsible experience in maintenance or manufacturing, including at least 5-7 years in a management role.\n\nAn equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.\n\nCertified Reliability & Maintenance Professional (CRMP) from the Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals or equivalent maintenance certification required or willingness to obtain within three (3) years of employment.\n\nIndustry experience in aggregate mining preferred.\n\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\n\nDemonstrated safe work history and proactive safety mindset.\n\nDemonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to guide, motivate, and develop teams.\n\nAbility to ensure accountability and instill trust with employees by following through on commitments and making sure others do the same.\n\nAbility to build rapport in an open, friendly, and accepting way across various levels of the organization.\n\nAbility to articulate the company’s managing financial performance to established targets.\n\nMust be able to effectively communicate with both internal and external audiences.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey information, provide direction, and foster collaboration.\n\nAnalytical ability and resourcefulness, as required in developing and implementing improved processes and resolving operating problems.\n\nAbility to travel occasionally and work flexible schedules including early mornings, nights, and weekends.\n\nProficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).\n\nCurrently possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record.\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\n\nLift objects of various dimensions and up to 100 lbs. of weight
