Since 1989, we’ve built a strong reputation throughout the region by delivering quality commercial and industrial construction projects while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their construction career who is eager to learn, gain broad project exposure, and work alongside experienced construction professionals in a hands-on environment.About the RoleThe Project Engineer will support all aspects of the project team, including Project Managers, Superintendents, estimators, and administrative personnel. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.This position offers exposure to:Project managementEstimating and bid supportVendor and subcontractor coordinationConstruction documentationScheduling and operational supportField/site involvementKey Responsibilities:Project Coordination & SupportAssist in developing project plans, schedules, timelines, and budgets.Support project teams in maintaining progress toward milestones and deadlines.Communication & CollaborationCommunicate effectively with project teams, trade partners, vendors, and clients.Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, estimators, and trade partners to solve challenges and support project execution.Vendor & Trade Partner CoordinationAssist with procurement activities, vendor communication, trade partner scheduling, and quote collection for bids/change orders.Documentation & Operational SupportMaintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, contracts, drawings, specifications, meeting minutes, and project tracking items.Estimating & Bid SupportAssist with quantity takeoffs, scope development, and trade partner bid coordination.What We’re Looking For:1–5 years of construction industry experience preferredInternship or co-op experience welcomedAbility to read and understand construction documentsStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentPositive attitude, coachability, and growth mindsetBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Construction Engineering, Business, or related field preferredKnowledge of scheduling software and Microsoft Office products preferredWhy Join Telamon?✅ 100% Employee-Owned (ESOP) ✅ Strong mentorship and growth opportunities ✅ Broad project exposure and hands-on experience ✅ Collaborative, team-oriented environment ✅ Competitive compensation and benefits ✅ 401(k) with company match ✅ Paid vacation and holidays ✅ Medical and dental benefitsIf you’re looking for an opportunity to grow your construction career with a company that values teamwork, development, and long-term success, we’d love to connect with you.
