{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"a1abcd1c2dfbb201729503c3","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/a1abcd1c2dfbb201729503c3","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/a1abcd1c2dfbb201729503c3","title":"Quality Engineer","description":"*Job Title: Quality Engineer *\n\n*Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company*\n\n*Duration: 1 Year Contract*\n\n*Location: Waterloo, IA 50703 *\n\n*Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM*\n\n_\\*Preferred US Citizens and Green card holders_\n\n*Description:*\n\n*Job Summary*\n\n* Support quality planning, issue resolution, continuous improvement, and quality initiatives for drivetrain component manufacturing.\n\n*Key Responsibilities*\n\n* Lead shop-floor quality issue resolution and drive continuous improvement using QIT, PFMEA, Six Sigma, and related quality tools.\n* Develop and maintain Control Plans, perform root cause analysis, and lead corrective actions for manufacturing issues.\n* Apply FMEA, SPC, Gauge R&R, MSA, capability studies, and statistical analysis to improve process quality.\n* Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements while supporting testing, validation, process improvements, and engineering changes.\n* Coordinate cross-functional teams, suppliers, and engineering activities to achieve quality, cost, safety, and customer requirements.\n\n*Required Skills & Experience*\n\n* Experience with quality management tools including FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, Control Plans, Gauge R&R, MSA, and Capability Studies.\n* Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles.\n* Experience with statistical analysis, corrective actions, quality reporting, and manufacturing process improvement.\n* Knowledge of gear/shaft or drivetrain component manufacturing, along with strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.\n\n*Desired Skills*\n\n* Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, or Minitab;
