The site specializes in producing polyurethane foam and other foam products. As a key location within FXI's manufacturing network, the High Point plant is known for its strong focus on quality, safety, and operational excellence. Team members work in a collaborative, supportive environment where continuous improvement and innovation play a central role.\nJob Overview:\nA Chop Line Machine Operator in the foam industry is responsible for operating machinery that continuously cuts foam blocks or buns into specified sizes, sheets, or components for manufacturing and customer orders.\nKey Responsibilities\nSet up, operate, and monitor chop line machinery used in foam processing.\nCut foam blocks, sheets, and products according to production specifications.\nRead and follow work orders, production schedules, and cutting instructions.\nMeasure and inspect foam products to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.\nAdjust machine settings to achieve required cut sizes and production efficiency.\nRemove, stack, package, and label finished foam products.\nPerform routine equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance.\nFollow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.\nReport machine malfunctions, quality issues, or material shortages to supervisors.\nSkills / Qualifications:\nAbility to accurately read tape measures and production specifications.\nBasic math and measurement skills.\nStrong attention to detail and quality control.\nMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of workplace safety procedures.\nAbility to lift and move foam materials as required.\nTotal Rewards:\nWe offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package that includes:\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance\nBasic and optional life insurance\nShort‑ and long‑term disability coverage\n401(k) plan with company match\nTuition assistance\nFlexible spending accounts\nOur Commitment to a Diverse Workforce:\nFXI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
