We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer with a focus on DO-178 verification and a strong background in complex software testing, control logic, and support. The successful support is expected to be able to troubleshoot and analyze, as well as be a quick study, coming up to speed with on-the-job training that will be provided by the existing test team as needed.\r\nJob Duties\r\nModule Testing\r\nIntegrated Module Testing\r\nSimulator Path Testing\r\nClosed-Loop Bench Path Testing\r\nRequirements-based test script development with configuration management tools\r\nDocumentation creation/updates\r\nAssist with weekly status reporting\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\nDegree in a relevant field, such as Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mathematics (strong preference for Software/Aerospace Engineering).\r\nMinimum Qualifications\r\n3 years of relevant experience.\r\nSome knowledge of Assembly language and familiarity with DO-178.\r\nU.S. Citizenship is required.\r\nPreferred Qualifications and Skills\r\nExperience with logical analyzers.\r\nEmbedded real-time software development.\r\nExperience with scripting languages such as Python and Linux shell.\r\nAerospace experience, especially with aircraft systems architecture.\r\nCompensation and Benefits\r\nSalary: $62,400 – $93,600 annual, adjusted based on education, experience, location, and discipline.\r\nBenefits may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), education assistance, paid time off (PTO), holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.\r\nEqual Opportunity Employer\r\nBelcan is an equal opportunity employer.
