They are accountable for the overall work of the regional Project Management department, ensuring all projects run smoothly from inception to completion and driving towards continuous departmental improvement.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nPROJECT MANAGEMENT\nAble to effectively execute our most complex projects.\nWorks directly with customer to define project requirements and expectations. Analyzes and proposes solutions, assess risks, and tracks/ communicates project milestones through project process to make sure customer remains informed and is happy with their new office space. Works efficiently with external project team (Architect, GC, Electrician, Data Vendors, etc.).\nDEPARTMENT MANAGEMENT\nAssumes complete responsibility for assignments and is accountable for ensuring projects are executed to client’s expectations.\nEnsure development of top performing Project Management team through recruiting, hiring, training, professional development, and coaching of team members.\nLead Project Management team meetings to share company information and activities and review of departmental best practices.\nConduct one-on-one meetings with direct reports to establish performance goals, conduct performance reviews, and manage activities regarding raises disciplinary actions.\nTrack and report specific PM Team metrics and assess overall workload and staffing needs for direct reports in collaboration with VP Project Operations and other department leaders, such as Design and Sales Support.\n\nPROCESS AND PRACTICE LEADERSHIP\n\nParticipate in cross-functional Practice Leader forum to develop and implement departmental and cross-functional goals and objectives.\nDevelop and implement new Learning and Development programs and technology platforms.\nCollaborate with executive leadership, department managers, and corporate practice leaders on development and implementation of best practices.\nProvide thought leadership to collaborate and participate in departmental and cross-functional company meetings.\nFollow company established requirements for process, protocols, and cross-functional communication.\nAdhere to responsible use of technology equipment and programs.\nMaintain commitment to a high level of quality and integrity in our operating systems.\nParticipate in Departmental, Branch, and All Company meetings and other building codes.\nDemonstrated ability to logistically plan all phases of the project cycle.\nAbility to lead, train, and direct the work of others.\nAble to analyze data and situations pertaining to a project, and concisely communicate findings and/ or solutions to both internal and external project teams.\nCapacity to identify roadblocks and quickly/ confidently manage project and team members around them.\nAble to communicate effectively with clients, architects, installers and contractors (including electricians and data vendors).\nCommunicates in a way that instills confidence with client and helps guide client to make the best decisions for project efficiency.\nUnderstands importance of customer input and acts with customer in mind.\nAble to work efficiently under high stress situations and manage conflict successfully.\nAble to identify core issues on a macro and micro level, then use tact and diplomacy to guide others toward best solution.\nLogical and analytical with strong attention to detail.\nA wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.\nProficient in the use of MS Office Suite: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.\nProficient in other project management software platforms including PlanGrid, Box, Dropbox, Smartsheet, Google Doc, etc., or willingness to learn quickly.\nUnderstanding of the complexities and sophistication required to thrive in the dealer environment.\nFluid interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a wide range of customers, vendors, personnel, and departments.\nAbility to see the big picture and integrate into day-to-day tasks and activities.\nExcellent and effective oral and written communication.\nPrior experience successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work
