The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure and systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of business-critical systems.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, implement, and support server, network, and cloud infrastructure environments.\nMonitor system performance, availability, and security to ensure optimal operation.\nInstall, configure, and maintain Windows and/or Linux operating systems.\nManage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and identity management solutions.\nSupport virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar platforms.\nAdminister cloud services including Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.\nDevelop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and technical standards.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and systems issues.\nImplement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.\nCollaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security best practices.\nParticipate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technology projects.\nProvide technical guidance and support to IT staff and end users as needed.\nMaintain system patches, software updates, and vulnerability remediation efforts.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.\n3+ years of experience in systems administration, systems engineering, or infrastructure support.\nStrong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux environments.\nExperience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.\nUnderstanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, and firewalls.\nExperience supporting cloud-based infrastructure and services.\nFamiliarity with backup, recovery, and high-availability solutions.\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nCertifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator; Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, VMware VCP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CompTIA Server+, or similar.\nExperience with automation and scripting tools such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.\nFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.\nExperience supporting enterprise security frameworks and compliance requirements.\nKnowledge of monitoring and logging platforms.\nKey Competencies\nProblem-solving and critical thinking\nAttention to detail\nCustomer service orientation\nProject management and prioritization\nCollaboration and teamwork\nAdaptability and continuous learning\n\nSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
