SonSoft Inc is growing at a steady pace specializing in the fields of Software Development, Software Consultancy, and Information Technology Enabled Services.\n\nJob Description\n\nResponsibilities (including but not limited to):\nTranslate designs and wireframes into high quality code – write exceptional software!\nDesign, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code.\nEnsure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application – We care about our user’s experience!\nUtilize GIT and JIRA/Confluence to manage your work.\nWork closely with your peers, QA, Product and Executives to define, design, implement and release new features to our users.\nWrite unit tests and work with the QA team to further develop testing frameworks.\nParticipate in code and design reviews with your peers to ensure high quality, efficient code and design are used in all your work.\nSpend time researching and evaluating new and relevant technologies and techniques in the mobile space. Evaluate new versions of Android, Android Studio and related libraries and technologies used in our apps.\nWork closely with our build/release engineering to ensure successful delivery to our end users for new features and fixes.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBuild and deployment for Android applications\nOther programming languages (C++, Python, Objective-C, Swift)\nUnderstanding of APK packaging, installation, structure of the Android file system, system applications & libraries\nAgile methodologies\nKnowledge or experience with other mobile platforms\nChromium\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience\n3+ years of Android development experience\n3+ years of Java experience\nStrong knowledge of Java and the Android SDK\nExperience developing full Android applications\nProfessional knowledge of Android application deployment\nProficiency with Android Studio or Eclipse\nUnderstanding of proven design patterns and architectures\nExperience with RESTful APIs to communicate with backend services.\nExperience parsing JSON and XML\nExperience with functional and behavior driven testing\n\nAdditional Information\n\nConnect with me at https://www.linkedin.com/in/mir-hasham-ali/ (For Direct Clients Requirements)\n\n** U.S. Citizens and those who are authorized to work independently in the United States are encouraged to apply.
