As Division Chief for Programs, you will have a lead role in shaping our FLDCOM's Investment Portfolio, ensuring all SSC Program Offices have the budget to deliver capability at speed and scale. You will have the opportunity to work across all Mission Areas (Missile Warning, SATCOM, PNT, Combat Power, SDA, Launch, etc.), as well as partner with other USSF organizations (CFC, STARCOM, Space RCO, etc.) to address the Service's most critical budget problems. As Division Chief, you will lead a team of subject matter experts (Military, Civilian, and Contractor) to deliver first-class decision support to senior SSC and USSF leadership. This unique, challenging, and rewarding role is critical to SSC's future success!\n\nIdeal Candidate:\nIn-depth knowledge of Space System Command (SSC) mission areas, financial management, portfolio management, and acquisition. The candidate must have the ability to understand complex problems and propose solutions to SSC leadership; complex problems will vary in nature, including but not limited to acquisition, budget, systems engineering, and warfighter requirements. Ability to establish and maintain relationships with key individuals/groups within and outside immediate work unit including HQ-level representatives.\n\nKey Skills and Abilities:\n1. In-depth knowledge of program planning, budget and financial management cycles and policies.\n2. Ability to gather, analyze, and present complex facts and develop programming and budgetary strategies.\n3. Ability to identify problems, develop and implement innovative detailed strategies to resolve a wide range of programming, budgetary, financial and management issues.\n4. Ability to negotiate resolution of complex budget and financial execution issues.\n5. Ability to interpret and apply fiscal policy and financial rules, regulations, and procedures.\n6. Ability to executive complex projects and/or studies within established time constraints.\n7. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.\n8.
