For more information about ECCO Select, visit us at www.eccoselect.com.\r\nPosition Title: Application Developer\r\nLocation Information\r\nHybrid (Remote/In-Office) – Topeka, KS\r\nCandidates must reside in Kansas or Missouri.\r\nScheduled Work Hours: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. or 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. CST (Additional hours may be required)\r\nPosition Responsibilities\r\nParticipate in analysis, coding, and testing of programming changes to resolve application issues and deliver new business functions within complex application environments.\r\nCollaborate with developers and business users to translate business requirements into technical designs and detailed test plans.\r\nWork alongside cross-functional teams to define system architecture and interface standards.\r\nEnsure seamless integration and compatibility of applications with existing IT systems and operational environments.\r\nDesign solutions that account for business goals, IT standards, SLAs, and budgetary constraints.\r\nTake ownership of defect resolution and manage system performance issues to ensure operational reliability.\r\nUphold compliance with corporate data security policies and regulatory requirements, including NERC, SOX, and 10 CFR 810.\r\nBachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.\r\n2-4 years of relevant IT experience with focus in application development and technical support.\r\nIntermediate to advanced knowledge of application development, business process analysis, and designing software solutions.\r\nProven experience in business continuity planning, disaster recovery, and data/application security best practices.\r\nStrong customer-centric approach aimed at achieving high levels of satisfaction in service delivery.\r\nAdvanced problem-solving and analytical skills.\r\nStrong verbal and written communication, with the capability to work collaboratively in a team environment.\r\nLeadership qualities for driving improvements in application stability and effectiveness.\r\nExperience with Agile methodologies and related tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).\r\nFamiliarity with Source Control best practices and tools (e.g., GitHub).\r\nExperience working with reporting tools and platforms, especially Power BI.\r\nTechnical proficiency in\r\nRelational databases (minimum 2 years' experience), especially Oracle PL/SQL, SQL\r\nModern front-end development: REACT, HTML\r\nBack-end and cloud: .NET, Azure\r\nProcess automation and data integration: Automic (UC4), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), GoAnywhere\r\nERP asset management integration experience (e.g., Maximo) is preferred\r\nAPIs and web services (API/REST development)\r\nBasic knowledge of workstation, network, and operating system administration (Windows 11, MS Office Suite)\r\nDemonstrated expertise in issue resolution, documentation, and ensuring compliance with information security frameworks.\r\nQualifications\r\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.\r\n2-4 years of directly related IT or application development experience required.\r\nAbility to work a hybrid schedule and attend on-site meetings as required in Topeka, KS; must reside in Kansas or Missouri.\r\nECCO Select is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
