Your contribution swill impact the way designers and engineers develop products.\r\nWhat you'll bring\r\n\r\nBachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's or equivalent experience a plus)\r\nAround 5 years of professional experience as a software developer, including:\r\n\r\nDeveloping services and deploying infrastructure in AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)\r\nStrong proficiency in Python, object-oriented programming, software design principles, and design patterns\r\nHands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)\r\nGood understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures\r\n* Solid experience with AWS services such as:\r\nEC2, S3, IAM, SNS, SQS, Lambda, CloudFront, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EKS\r\n* Experience with:\r\nServerless patterns and event-driven designs (e.g., Step Functions, EventBridge)\r\nOperating production services with high availability and observability (metrics, logs, traces)\r\nMonitoring and alerting techniques for early problem detection and reporting\r\nCI/CD pipelines (GitLab experience is an advantage)\r\nMulti-team, collaborative software development (source control, collaborative design and code reviews)\r\nDesigning and implementing microservices delivering self-contained business functionality within a SaaS product\r\n* Mindset and practices:\r\nYou consider security and user data protection throughout the software development lifecycle\r\nYou have experience working with Agile methodologies\r\nYou are curious, open to learning new technologies, and keen to develop new skills\r\n* Nice to have / added advantages:\r\nAWS Associate or Professional certification\r\nExperience operating a 24x7, global, highly available, secure SaaS environment\r\nExperience with Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform and managed Kubernetes (AKS/GKE)\r\nBackground or interest in large-scale numerical simulation / HPC workloads\r\nExperience with job scheduling systems such as PBS, Slurm, LSF, or Grid Engine\r\nHands-on experience with multi-model NoSQL databases such as ArangoDB or equivalent technologies\r\nWhy Siemens?\r\nWorking at Siemens Digital Industries Software means flexibility, including hybrid work where role and location allow, and a comprehensive benefits and rewards package that you would expect from a world leader in industrial software.\r\nWe are dedicated to equality and welcome applications that reflect the diversity of the communities we work in.
