You will be using general tools such as soldering irons, cutters, wrenches, luggers, component bending tools, power tools and screwdrivers, vacuum equipment, heat guns, tie wrap guns, crimpers, crimping machines and possibly others.\n\nThis role is for our second shift team: Monday – Thursday 2:30pm-1:00am (some extended hours may be required from time to time) & some Saturdays. On a 4/10 holiday schedule.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nPerform a variety of diverse electronic or mechanical production assembly tasks meeting with a consistent level of high skill, knowledge and versatility meeting high quality expectations\nSolder, assemble, route and secure wiring/cables into subassemblies such as panels and cabinets\nWork with hand tools and specialty tools as required\nPerform rework resulting from drawing change notices\nCross-train as back-up in other areas of the manufacturing plant\nDevelop working knowledge of the production environment\nComply with manufacturing code of conduct\n\nPrioritize safety, quality, accuracy, and reliability of work performed\n\nUphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork\nDemonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct\nIt is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem\nDuties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business\n\nQualifications\n\nMinimum of 2 years related wiring assembly experience\nExperience with electromechanical panel wiring, cabinet wiring, PLCs onto panel enclosures, wire routing\nUse and operate various computer systems and applicable software (such as retrieving work instructions or manufacturing module in ERP system)\nAbility to follow technical drawings and assembly instructions and processes to assemble cables to manufacturing and industry specifications\n\nCompetencies Required\n\nMust be work driven and goal-oriented\nMust work well with others and follow given instructions\nGain the trust and respect of others\n\nDesired Qualifications\n\nFamiliarity and Certification of IPC 610 & 620 or J-Standards-001\nAwareness of Lean 6Sigma processes\n\nWorking Conditions\n\nThis position works in a production environment with the risk of injury so some safety equipment must be worn when working with equipment in the shop.
