This position plays a crucial role in ensuring optimal performance of industrial control systems, PLCs, and various electronic components while maintaining safety standards and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.\nShift Hours Night shift hours will be 7PM-7AM for 4 days a week (total of 48 hours per week).\nSign‑on bonus: $3,000.00.\nKey Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and maintain complex electronic/electrical equipment, including comprehensive work on PLCs, motor relays, circuit breakers, and industrial control systems to ensure optimal facility operations.\nDiagnose, repair, and maintain sophisticated electronic systems, including detailed work with PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, vision systems, and AC/DC drives, while ensuring all automated manufacturing equipment operates at peak efficiency.\nPerform precise calibration, alignment, and modification of electronic components and circuitry, implementing preventive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment reliability and performance metrics.\nPerform advanced troubleshooting of complex electronic issues using sophisticated diagnostic equipment and technical documentation, implementing both immediate solutions and long‑term preventive measures.\nCoordinate effectively with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical challenges, implement system improvements, and maintain rigorous equipment performance standards.\nParticipate in facility‑wide continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for system upgrades, process enhancements, and efficiency improvements, including cost‑saving measures.\nPerform and maintain comprehensive Lock‑Out/Tag‑Out procedures and safety systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations while protecting personnel and equipment.\nAssist with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems as needed.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nExperience 3–5 years hands‑on experience as an Electronics Technician preferred.\nRequired Skills Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting.\nProficiency in mechanical skills.\nStrong knowledge of industrial controls and automation.\nExperience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, or similar PLC platforms.\nExpertise in electrical/electronic systems troubleshooting.\nUnderstanding of NEC electrical codes.\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.\nIndustrial electronics expertise.\nServo and drive systems knowledge.\nElectrical safety knowledge.\nTraining capabilities.\nProblem‑solving ability.\nAdditional Requirements Must be 18 years of age.\nMust pass pre‑employment assessment.\nDrug screening required.\nBackground check required.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities Industrial control systems and automation.\nPLC programming and ladder logic.\nElectrical and electronic theory.\nSafety protocols and procedures.\nProcess control systems.\nIndustrial networking and communications.\nNEC and safety regulations.\nAdvanced troubleshooting and technical problem‑solving.\nEquipment calibration.\nProgramming and software modification.\nTechnical documentation.\nPreventive maintenance.\nManage multiple priorities.\nEffective communication.\nBasic knowledge of machine tools; lathes, mills, drill press.\nBasic knowledge of welding and sheet metal fabrication.\nPhysical Demands Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.\nStanding/walking for extended periods.\nWorking in various positions (bending, kneeling, reaching).\nRequired to lift, bend, crouch, reach, twist, and crawl.\nExposure to manufacturing environment (noise, heat, chemicals).\nMay require working in confined spaces.\nRequired to work in high places.\nRequired to ascend and descend ladders safely.\nAbility to safely operate mobile equipment.\nAbility to wear respiratory protection as needed.\nAbility to wear ARC flash equipment.\nAbility to wear required PPE (hearing protection, steel‑toe shoes, safety glasses).\nWork Conditions Noise levels above 85 dB.\nOperation of complex machinery.\nSolvents, fumes and inks.\nConcrete floors, roof areas.\nWorking at heights, hot work.\nWorks near energized and moving equipment.\nVariable temperatures.\nMust be able to work flexible shifts.\nMay require nights, weekends, and holidays.\nAn additional $2.50/hr premium for hours worked on NIGHT Shift only.\nPrintpack is proudly an equal‑opportunity employer.
