Our customers rely on MultiTech products and people to address their needs, while our history of innovation ensures they stay ahead of the latest technology with a partner who will be there for the life of their solution.\n\nSUMMARY: Adheres to the quality system standards pertaining to the testing and assembling of electronic devices.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nPerform test requirements on basic products.\nAssemble chassis, cables, and wires other related assemblies per schedule and referencing QA check sheet.\nOperate in-circuit testers as required.\nUses visual aids, verbal, and written instructions to perform the job.\nAdheres to ESD requirements and safety rules.\nProduce high quality products to exceed customer expectations.\nFollows MultiTech rules and policies.\nClean and maintain work area.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:\n\nBasic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills in English.\nManual dexterity required for operating machinery, hand tools, and computers.\nKnowledge of production planning and quality management systems preferred.\nKnowledge of Lean principles preferred.\nBasic PC knowledge.\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:\n\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED).\nOne to three months related experience and/or training.\nOn the job training provided.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\n\nLifting requirements up to 40 pounds.\nRequires standing, sitting, and walking for periods of time.\nReaching required.\nRequires close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Color vision preferred, but not required.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nWorking conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Moderate noise level. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; safety glasses, wrist and shoe straps, and ESD smock. Food is not allowed in the manufacturing area.
