From eLearning tools and interactive lectures to lively discussions, team exercises, readings, case studies, role plays, and practical demonstrations, you will develop material that mirrors language analyst tasks and update existing materials to meet our client's language training requirements.\r\nResponsibilities Clarify and document customer operational requirements, training objectives and language level of materials\r\nAssist in the prioritization of requirements for training development\r\nResearch and leverage classified and unclassified domain-specific language resources for relevant, authentic language content\r\nDevelop training materials to include transcription, translation, and analysis of operational, task-based exercises\r\nCollaborate with language instructors and other Government and Contractor developers in the design, development and documentation of language and domain-specific training materials\r\nEmploy technology (e.g., Audacity, Adobe C5S, Adobe Premier) in developing training materials for language learning that combine blended delivery modes such as online, distance, asynchronous eLearning technology and self-paced instruction\r\nCollaborate with SIGINT Operations technical experts as well as other Government and Contractor instructors and developers to obtain and develop language materials\r\nDevelop practical evaluations to test the student's mastery of the learning and/or performance objectives\r\nIdentify and recommend learning applications and tools that enhance training delivery\r\nQualifications B.A./B.S. in Language, Area Studies, Education, Education Technology, ISD or other directly related discipline\r\nNative speaker with at least ILR proficiency level 4 in reading, listening, and speaking in Chinese and at least ILR level 2 in reading, writing, speaking and listening in English, or native speaker in English with at least ILR level 3 in reading and listening in Chinese; skill levels documented within the last 3 years\r\nMinimum five (5) years of experience, including three (3) years SIGINT or Intelligence Community experience as a language analyst and/or language instructor\r\nTwo (2) years experience within the last 6 years, applied practical work experience developing, documenting and/or updating basic, intermediate, and advanced language training materials following the principles of ISD\r\nIn lieu of the relevant B.A./B.S. degree: 4 additional years of applied, practical experience in language education, instructional design or language analysis fields for a total of 9 years of work experience may be substituted\r\nOne (1) year experience typing, using English and appropriate foreign language fonts, keyboards, and computer software\r\nOne (1) year experience within the last 4 years in synchronous and asynchronous instructional systems design and in the development of skills-based instruction to adults, including using web-based or distance learning teaching technologies such as Centra, Blackboard, Questionmark, SumTotal\r\nDesired One (1) year experience using digital audio tools such as Audacity or Sound Forge\r\nMinimum Clearance Required TS/SCI with Polygraph\r\nTravel Requirements Up to 10 % local travel\r\nPay Range Pay range: $78,700–$165,200. Final salary depends on location, contract categories, experience, skills, education, and certifications.
