If you are an experienced inspector looking to collaborate with a dynamic and international organization, we encourage you to apply and become part of our network.About The RoleWitness inspections and testing per inspection test plans, quality plans, industry standards, supplier and customer requirementsVerify inspection, measurement, and test equipment is calibrated/certified and meets all job related requirementsValidate technician certification(s) are current for the intended scope of activityAs the Customer Representative, work in a professional manner with Suppliers in regards to scheduling, deliveries, and overall job executionGenerate reports documenting rejection and acceptance of inspections and testing activitiesGenerate clear, concise, and accurate reports documenting rejection and acceptance of activities under surveillanceMeet or exceed HSSE objectives of customer and Supplier, as well as PPI safety guidelinesCommunicate (via email or phone) job progression and inspection results to coordinator and Customer as requiredPromote safe work practices; for example, utilize all PPE required by the immediate work area, comply with Supplier safety practices while at Supplier locations, etc.Comply with PPI Quality Management System and its documented informationDo you have what it takes?RequirementsProven experience in electrical and instrumentation inspectionHands-on experience witnessing FAT and final inspectionsStrong understanding of power systems, transformers, and related equipmentAbility to produce professional reports in EnglishPreferred CertificationsIECEx Certification (CoPC) or CompExAlternatively, similar certifications or knowledge such as:ATEX DirectiveNFPA 70 / NFPA 70EIdeal CandidateDetail-oriented and technically strongFamiliar with international electrical standardsAvailable for short-term assignmentsPreferably based in Finland or available to travelWhat can you expect from us in return?Independent ContractorAt PPI Quality & Engineering, you’ll join a dynamic, growing organization that values collaboration, expertise, and flexibility.
