{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"a13e6395e1cf8a6809d87bbd","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/a13e6395e1cf8a6809d87bbd","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/a13e6395e1cf8a6809d87bbd","title":"Material Handler","description":"This position is 3rd shift, 11:00 PM to 7:15 AM Monday through Friday.\n\nMaterial Handler, responsible for preparing materials for upcoming jobs according to the production schedule in an effective and efficient manner to satisfy customer requirements.\n\nStarting pay based on job experience\n\nWe have a great benefit package for full-time employees including;\nMedical, Dental/Vision, Vacation, Holidays, Flexible Spending Account, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401K, Safety Glasses (Prescription if needed) a yearly contribution to your education of 3K, Employee Referral Bonus, a monthly production bonus.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\nAssist Process Tech with answering alarms/troubleshooting\nPrepare resins in accordance with what has been staged for each press in the warehouse per work order\nMaintain part containment at press machines at all times for current production run\nVerify proper material drying conditions, dryer size, temperature and time required\nProvide an adequate supply of materials and monitors material use during operations to ensure uninterrupted supply\nMix materials and concentrates per work order specifications\nEnsure proper blending of raw materials, regrind, additives and color at machines to meet quality criteria\nRemove resins from press area to warehouse, completing necessary documentation\nAfter job is complete, remove and clean up materials, equipment, etc. (line clearance process)\nSet up and properly label gaylords for proper disposal of runners/bad parts\nWeigh, log and load recyclable runners/bad parts into recycle trailer\nGrind and otherwise properly dispose of excess materials\nComplete necessary material handling documentation\nClean and maintain dryers, hoppers, loaders, grinders, maguires, motans, etc.\nKeep work area clean as well as aisles free of material handling equipment\nMay assist in mold set up or transporting molds to tool room when necessary\nMay assist Shipping and Receiving department when approved by Supervisor\nOperate molding automatic molding machines and other machines when necessary\nSort and move pallets to pallet area\nMaintain forklift battery charge\nProvide physical counts on materials as necessary\nVerify accuracy on all work order BOMs\nParticipate in daily shift change activities including walk around to each press\nOther duties as assigned\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nNone\n\nQualifications:\nTeamwork\nCommunication proficiency\nAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos\nSuitable written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills to interact within all levels of the organization\nMechanically inclined\nEducation and/or Experience:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required\nMathematical Skills:\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide\nMust be able to use a calculator\nReasoning Ability:\nAbility to apply understanding to carry out written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.\nPhysical Demands:\nExtended hours of standing and walking; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit.
