A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRN - ICU/n/nJob Details:/n• Work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM/n• 36 guaranteed hours per week/n• Patient ratio of 1:2/n• Every 3rd weekend required, potentially up to every other weekend/n• Holiday rotation required (generally 3 of the 6 major holidays)/n• May float to med/surg units as needed/n• No call requirements/n• 2 years of experience required/n• First-time travelers accepted/n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS/n• SANE certification required in hand at time of submission/n• May be required to float or take call at the Center of Hope (20 minutes from main ER)/n• Care for ICU and progressive care patients requiring pressors, sedation, thrombolytic therapy, electrolyte replacement, cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilator/BiPAP support/n• Perform bedside procedures including chest tube placement, intubation, line placement, cardioversions, lumbar punctures, and thoracentesis/n• May require conscious sedation administration/n• Any color scrubs - professional appearance required/n• Meditech charting system/n• Free parking provided/n• 12 hours orientation/n• Maximum 7 days requested time off/n/nFacility:/nThis healthcare facility features a 16-bed ICU/CCU unit providing comprehensive critical care services for adult and geriatric patients.
