Join us and help to grow a company that will change how the world is built.\nRole Overview\nThe Solutions Engineer (SE) is a customer-facing role that combines strong construction scheduling knowledge with strong communication and technical aptitude.\nThis role is designed for experienced construction professionals who have built and managed project schedules and are comfortable explaining how work gets planned, sequenced, and executed. As a Solutions Engineer, you will work closely with Sales to help prospective customers understand how Planera fits into their existing scheduling and planning workflows.\nThis role does not require prior software sales experience. However, it does require strong construction and scheduling experience, comfort with modern software tools, and the ability to communicate effectively with construction professionals at all levels of an organization.\nRequired Experience and Skills\nMinimum 5 years of experience in commercial or heavy civil construction\nHands-on experience building and managing project schedules\nBackground That is a Strong Fit\nProject Manager or Assistant Project Manager\nSuperintendent with strong scheduling involvement\nConstruction operations roles with direct schedule ownership\nStrong working knowledge of:\nPrimavera P6 (preferred)\nMicrosoft Project\nSolid understanding of:\nCPM scheduling principles\nProject sequencing and dependencies\nHow schedules are used to manage projects in practice\nStrong technical aptitude and comfort learning new software\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to engage effectively with construction professionals at all levels.\nWhat You'll Do\nPartner with Sales to support qualified opportunities from discovery through close. You'll lead technical conversations, deliver workflow-driven product demos, and help prospects connect their existing scheduling practices to Planera.\nCore Responsibilities\nRun discovery to understand how customers build and manage schedules today, including their use of P6, Microsoft Project, or Excel, and how scheduling connects to field execution\nDeliver tailored demos to project managers, superintendents, schedulers, and operations leaders, adjusting for project type, audience role, and scheduling maturity.\nSpeak confidently to CPM concepts: logic, sequencing, constraints, calendars, lookaheads, and how Planera fits alongside or replaces existing tools\nLead follow-up technical conversations and deeper dives as needed throughout the sales cycle\nCommunicate clearly across all levels of a construction organization, from field leadership to executive stakeholders, without relying on unnecessary jargon\nWork Environment and Travel\nThis is a fully remote role\nTravel is expected to be limited, estimated at approximately 10–15%:\nTravel expectations may vary based on business needs\nWhy Join Us\nImpact: Be at the forefront of transforming a $12.1 trillion industry.
