We are seeking top-notch working foremen, and journeyman carpenters with at least 4 years' experience in residential frame and finish carpentry. Here your input is welcome; you will have the chance to make an impact on our company.\nREQUIREMENTS:\nPrefer a high school education or equivalent.\nPrefer one (1) year experience in construction work.\nMust be physically capable of lifting lumber, framing and finishing work on the job site.\nRequired to have a basic compliment of tools as outlined by S. R. Freeman, Inc.\nMust be able to read a tape measure and measure accurately\nMust be able to read and understand basic blueprint reading.\nMust have a valid and current California Driver’s license and be insurable.\nMust be able to lift 100 pounds.\nMust have excellent eyesight and depth perception.\nMust have the ability to lift, move and handle awkward lumber.\nMust be able to work from heights above 20 feet using ladders and or scaffolding.\nMust be capable of working and moving around elevated framing members.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nCompletes work as assigned by Carpenter Foreman.\nUses and maintains equipment and hand tools both his own and those assigned to the project.\nJob sites roll out and clean up\nCutting and handling raw lumber for use in framing\nConstructing floor, wall and roof systems typical of custom residential projects.\nBuilding and sheeting the interior and exterior walls.\nMay be required to dig ditches, do minor electrical or plumbing.\nPrepare concrete forms and pour concrete foundations.\nLayout and frame walls.\nInstall headers.\nInstall mudsills\nFloor joist layout\nKnows how to frame doors and windows.\nInstalls ceiling joists\nKnows how to build forms\nUnderstands and can build stairs with Journeyman’s assistance\nKnows basic roof framing\nAble to properly use Skilsaw and Sawzall\nUses a level\nLearns how to install girders and floor joists\nObeys all safety rules and regulations.\nObeys all company policies and procedures\nMaintains a good working relationship with co-workers.\nPerforms any other duties and tasks as may be assigned time to time by the Carpenter Foreman.\nMust be physically capable of lifting lumber, framing and finishing work on the job site.\nRequired to have a basic compliment of tools as outlined by S.
