Engineer (Experienced)","description":"M&S Engineering, LLC seeks a qualified Civil Engineer to work in our Substation Division at our Spring Branch, Texas location to perform engineering and design duties which require application of engineering principles and knowledge of the civil site development process and small slab and pier foundation design.\n\nDuties & Responsibilities\n\nDetail civil site and/or structural foundation engineering and design\nCreate/modify design documents and drawings for a project, including specifications, technical reports to support design as required by permitting agencies, and generating bills of material\nEffectively communicate and coordinate project activities with manager, clients, and others as needed\nPrepare scopes, schedules, and budgets, and ensure that schedules and budgets are met\nTake on a project engineer and/or project manager role as required\n\nRequirements\n\n4-year degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering (emphasis in Structures and/or Site Development)\nMinimum of 3 years applicable post-graduation substation design experience\nCurrent EIT License in the State of Texas or ability to obtain the license within 12 months of hire (preferred)\nCurrent PE License in the State of Texas or ability to obtain the license within 12 months of hire (preferred)\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nExcellent interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communications skills\nAbility to work closely with other engineering and design team members to coordinate overall design package and requirements\nAbility to travel\nTake personal responsibility and ownership for the quality and accuracy of work product\nProficiency using AutoCAD or MicroStation and Microsoft Office Suite\nSelf-starter\nAble to simultaneously manage multiple projects\nWork independently or in a team environment\nMust be able to routinely lift up to 30lbs\nValid driver’s license with a clean
