The Regional Retail Banking Manager provides leadership and support to the bank’s retail branch network. This role directly supervises Branch Office Managers, coaching and guiding them to achieve strong performance in customer service, sales growth, operational excellence, and compliance. Working closely with the Retail Banking Director, this position helps ensure branches meet financial goals while delivering a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, conduct meetings, and support Branch Office Managers and Relationship Bankers.
Conduct regular branch visits to assess performance and provide hands-on guidance.
Drive branch performance related to deposits, new accounts, sales, and service quality.
Ensure consistent customer experience and address escalated customer issues as needed.
Collaborate with branch leaders to implement operational improvements and best practices.
Ensure branch operations comply with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Partner with Organizational Development and Compliance to support training and risk management.
Represent the bank through community and civic involvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of banking experience with demonstrated supervisory or management experience.
Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
Solid understanding of retail banking operations, sales, and compliance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking systems.
Ability to travel between branches and work flexible hours as needed.
