As a family-operated company, they prioritize safety, value employees, and promote growth opportunities within their team.Key ResponsibilitiesWork with company Logistics Planner and Director of Operations in the development of the daily drayage plan which entails the efficient and effective planning of resources to meet/exceed customer requirements.Lead a team in the execution of the daily drayage plan and dispatching of drivers.'Win the Day' - Monitor performance to plan by tracking port activity, terminal congestion, driver performance, equipment issues, etc. throughout the day and adjust as necessary to successfully achieve the day's plan.High level of customer, driver, and office communication.Drive Continuous Improvement, Customer Satisfaction, Driver Satisfaction. Qualifications3+ years of experience in drayage operations and port logisticsStrong experience with Port of Savannah operations.Refrigerated container experience a plus.Strong Customer Service capabilities to maintain and build client relationshipsKnowledge of TMS; Microsoft Office; and other IT systemsProven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentFamiliarity with drayage and port logistics within the Southeast region is a plusBachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
