HVAC Commercial Install Apprentice/Helper

Job Description Description:Complete installation of new heating and cooling systems, and relocation of existing systems. Operate company vehicle as needed Work well with customers, co-workers and other sub-contractors Follow instructions from supervisor and journeyman, and carry out in a timely manner Installation of ductwork in a neat & professional manner Keep job site and company vehicle clean and organized Attend continued professional HVAC training as scheduled by management Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times Maintain a regularly punctual attendance record, fill out daily timecard accurately Effectively communicate with co-workers and other sub-contractors Adhere to company safety rules and regulations Regular use of personal protective equipment Come to work ready to work with proper tools and attire Willingness to invest time in training seminars and classesRequirements:Valid driver license and clean driving record, insurable by company insuranceDesire to advance in career through apprenticeship program and on-the-job trainingAbility to work well independently or as a teamAbility to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds consistent with trade practiceAbility to work out of town when necessaryAbility to work outside in a wide range of temperaturesMust be able to pass pre-employment drug screenMust be able to work off ladders & liftsMinimum High School diploma, GED or equivalentPrevious HVAC experience in a commercial application is preferredEnrollment in apprenticeship program or technical/trade school is preferredPrevious experience reading blue prints is preferredBasic written and verbal English language communication skills
