This role is critical in ensuring organizational readiness for strategic initiatives, regulatory compliance, product launches, and large-scale operational changes.This position partners closely with business, technology, and product stakeholders to identify readiness gaps, align cross-functional teams, and ensure the organization is fully prepared to implement and sustain change. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in healthcare—particularly within a payer environment—and a proven ability to manage large, complex programs in fast-paced and evolving environments.Job DescriptionThe Senior Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end project leadership, with a strong emphasis on readiness planning, execution, and delivery quality. This includes coordinating cross-functional efforts, managing dependencies, and ensuring alignment across business and technology teams to achieve successful outcomes.Key responsibilities include:Lead and manage complex, cross-functional programs with a focus on organizational readiness and successful delivery of strategic initiativesPartner with business and technology stakeholders to define project scope, milestones, resource needs, and readiness plansDevelop and maintain critical paths, timelines, and milestones, adjusting as needed based on evolving business prioritiesIdentify readiness gaps, risks, and dependencies, and drive mitigation strategies to ensure successful executionCoordinate and synchronize efforts across business readiness, communications, process design, and technology delivery teamsMonitor and report on project progress, including MVP delivery, to key stakeholders and leadership forumsSupport transformation programs by ensuring readiness deliverables are tracked and achievedFacilitate cross-team alignment across multiple divisions, highlighting and resolving risks or gapsHold teams accountable for deliverables, remove obstacles, and serve as an escalation point when neededManage project financials, including budget tracking, forecasting, and resolving discrepanciesSupport business case development in partnership with program managers and cross-functional stakeholdersLead stakeholder communication efforts, including executive-level updates and reportingCollaborate with internal teams and external vendors to drive successful project outcomesQualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience5+ years of experience managing complex, cross-departmental programsProven experience leading cross-functional strategic initiatives, transformation programs, or product implementationsOrganizational readiness experience (healthcare experience strongly preferred)Experience managing large program budgets exceeding $1MDemonstrated ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams of 10–50+ stakeholders across business, technology, and operationsStrong experience with end-to-end project delivery, including Agile methodologiesExcellent executive communication skills, including experience creating leadership-level presentations and status reportingAbility to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while maintaining strong attention to detail and delivery timelinesAbility to maintain a consistent and reliable work schedulePreferred QualificationsHealthcare industry experience, particularly within a payer environmentProject Management Professional (PMP) certificationExperience supporting enterprise transformation or large-scale organizational change initiativesBenefitsDahl Consulting is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees that will allow you to choose the best coverage to meet your family’s needs.
