We are the best of both worlds: endless hiking, camping or fishing in the beautiful Catskill Mountains and roughly 2 hours from NYC. Work with a passionate team doing inspiring things against the backdrop of the Urban Cowboy Lodge. Housing & Benefits are available. Options for both Management & Hourly Positions; Hospitality experience appreciated, but not necessary! --------------------------- We want the the right person for our bar! Maybe even someone to help run it... We are a Casual Luxe Mountain Lodge here in the beautiful Catskill Mountains. We have an incredible Food & Beverage Program and we are looking for a new member. Arrive for Ski Season and stay till the Hiking Starts. There's Housing, Benefits and an incredible team already providing one of the best experiences Upstate. You must multi-task, take pride in your cocktails, care about presentation and gives great service! The shifts are 1 to 8PM and 6PM to Midnight. Weekend availability is essential--of course. Compensation is based on experience and send a resume with references--Thanks! Other Minimum Requirements: Two years prior bartending experience Process all guest checks through an approved payment process (credit cards, room charge or cash) Maintain TIPs certification Must be able to speak fluent English and communicate with guest and fellow co-workers Ability to interpret written procedures and apply in practice Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard or “classic” and proprietary recipes Mix all drinks based on the specs outlined in the UC manual to keep drink costs at a minimum and recipes consistent. Mix and garnish cocktails to UC Specs and Standards. Arrange glasses and bottles into attractive and functional displays. Ensure glasses, bar equipment and working areas are clean and sanitary and all glasses are properly polished and ready to go before service begins. Keep the Bar area clean in accordance with UC Guidelines and governing agencies blah blah blah--you get it! We are looking forward to hearing from you soon!
