For over a decade, we have stood at the forefront of the digital revolution in the Democratic political and nonprofit space. We’re reshaping what’s possible in the world of politics through our award-winning programs for campaigns, nonprofits, and organizations.\n\nWe are a team of dynamic, diverse, and passionate Democrats who work with some of the biggest names in politics. We tell stories that turn heads. We win progress when it matters the most. And now, we want you to join us!\n\nWe are looking for a Creator Programs Strategist to lead and grow our paid creator programs — one of the most exciting and fastest-evolving areas of progressive digital strategy. This is a role for someone who doesnt just manage creator campaigns, but genuinely loves this work: someone who gets fired up about matching the right voice to the right message, who follows creators the way political junkies follow polls, and who wants to help define what best-in-class creator programs look like in the progressive space.\n\nRole Details\nYou’ll serve as the strategic lead and primary client contact on paid creator campaigns for major Democratic committees, advocacy organizations, and issue campaigns. You’ll also help Trilogy build out this offering — developing streamlined processes, standardizing creator contracts, refining our approach, and pushing the envelope on whats possible when you bring authentic creator voices into the progressive digital ecosystem.\n\nThis role sits at the intersection of political strategy, influencer marketing, production management, and operational rigor. If that combination excites you, apply today!\n\nResponsibilities\nAs a Creator Programs Strategist, you will lead creator campaigns from pitch to wrap, serving as the strategic backbone of each program and the primary point of contact for clients. Specifically, you will:\n\nStrategy & Client Leadership\n\nSet the overall strategic direction for creator programs, including audience targeting, creator selection criteria, messaging frameworks, and content strategy.\n\nServe as the primary client contact — explaining the value and mechanics of creator programs, setting expectations, managing approvals, and delivering results.\n\nDraft campaign plans that align client goals with the realities of working with independent creators, including navigating the inherent tradeoffs between message control and creator authenticity.\n\nTranslate client objectives into clear, actionable creator briefs and ensure messaging is on-brand without being overly prescriptive.\n\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with a growing roster of major Democratic and progressive clients.\n\nProgram Management & Execution\n\nManage the end-to-end lifecycle of creator programs: campaign planning, creator sourcing and vetting, briefing, content review, approvals, posting, and reporting.\n\nCoordinate across internal teams (creative, paid media, strategy) and external partners (influencers, talent managers, etc.) to keep programs on track.\n\nOversee content review and approval workflows, balancing speed with quality and client requirements.\n\nMaintain program trackers, deliverable schedules, and status documentation to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.\n\nMonitor live content performance and provide timely reporting to clients.\n\nOperations & Program Infrastructure\n\nManage program budgets, including creator fees, usage rights costs, and management fees — tracking spend against projections and flagging variances.\n\nCoordinate the contracting process for individual creators, including drafting agreements, negotiating deliverable terms and usage rights, and managing execution through signature.\n\nMaintain and improve operational templates, trackers, and workflows that allow Trilogy to scale creator programs efficiently.\n\nWork with Trilogys operations team to ensure smooth invoicing, payment processing, and financial close for creator programs.\n\nInnovation& Practice Development\n\nHelp shape and grow Trilogys creator programs offering as a core business line — identifying new opportunities, refining our pitch, and contributing to proposals and case studies.\n\nStay current on the creator economy, platform trends, emerging talent, and what progressive and political organizations are doing (and should be doing) with creators.\n\nDevelop and share internal best practices, including contributing to Trilogys creator program guides and training materials.\n\nIdentify opportunities to innovate — whether thats new content formats, new sourcing strategies, new ways to measure impact, or new ways to structure creator partnerships.\n\nBring a genuine passion for this work that shows up in the quality and creativity of the programs you lead.\n\nRequired Skills\nPeople with all types of experiences, backgrounds, and interests can excel at this position, but here are traits that the most successful candidates will bring to the table:\n\nYou know creators : You have direct, hands‑on experience managing paid creator or influencer campaigns — sourcing talent, negotiating deliverables, managing content workflows, and reporting on results. You understand the difference between working with creators and running a traditional ad campaign.\n\nYoure a political strategist at heart : You understand progressive politics, the issues that drive Democratic campaigns and advocacy organizations, and the messaging sensitivities that come with political creator work. You can think outside yourself and your own experiences to connect with diverse audiences.\n\nYoure organized and operationally sharp : Youre comfortable managing budgets, contracts, and multi‑track timelines simultaneously. You dont just track tasks — you build systems that make sure nothing falls through the cracks.\n\nYoure a strong communicator : Clients trust you. Creators (and their teams) respect you. Your internal team knows where things stand. You can translate between the worlds of political strategy, content creation, and operations without losing anyone along the way.\n\nYoure curious and forward‑looking : You dont just run programs the way they’ve always been run. You actively seek out emerging trends, new platforms, and new talent. You bring ideas to the table and push your team to try new approaches that improve outcomes.\n\nYou have experience : You bring 3–5+ years of relevant professional experience in digital strategy, influencer/creator marketing, or political campaign management. This is not an entry‑level position.\n\nPreferred Skills\nWhile not required, we find the following to be especially valuable in this role:\n\nExperience managing creator or influencer programs in a political, advocacy, or issue campaign context.\n\nFamiliarity with creator agreement structures, usage rights, and the business mechanics of working with talent and their representatives.\n\nExperience with social media advertising and an understanding of how organic creator content can be amplified through paid promotion.\n\nComfort with reporting and analytics tools, and an ability to tie creator program results back to client goals.\n\nExperience with project management tools and operational workflows at scale.\n\nUnderstanding of FEC disclosure requirements and other compliance considerations relevant to political creator content.\n\nLocation\nThis position is based in Washington, D.C., or Berkeley, CA (Bay Area) though we will consider strong remote candidates.\n\nSalary\nThe minimum salary for this role is $82,500. Exact title and salary to be determined based on experience, in accordance with Trilogys transparent salary structure.\n\nBenefits\nTrilogy is proud to offer our team an industry‑leading compensation package to promote a healthy work/life balance.
