The ideal candidate will have knowledge of rubber processing techniques. In addition to production planning, quality control, safety compliance, and team leadership.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPlan, coordinate, and supervise all rubber manufacturing operations to ensure timely production and delivery.\nManage the entire production cycle including mixing, extrusion, molding, curing, and finishing.\nImplement and maintain manufacturing best practices to ensure high-quality output and minimal waste.\nMonitor and optimize plant performance through KPIs (efficiency, yield, downtime, etc.).\nDevelop and lead a team of production supervisors, technicians, and operators.\nEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations (HSE).\nWork closely with Quality Assurance and R&D for process improvement and new product development.\nPrepare and manage departmental budgets and cost-saving initiatives.\nCoordinate with maintenance department on maintaining machinery and equipment through regular preventive maintenance programs.\nEvaluate and implement new technologies or upgrades to improve productivity.\nCoordinate with supply chain for raw material procurement and inventory control.\nQualifications & Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Rubber Technology, or a related field.\n5 years of experience in rubber manufacturing, with a managerial/supervisory role.\nStrong knowledge of rubber compounding, molding (compression, injection, transfer), and curing processes.\nFamiliarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100 or other relevant quality management systems.\nExcellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.\nProficient in production planning software and MS Office tools.\nBilingual (English/Spanish)\nOther relevant Qualifications that maybe included:\nSafety & Compliance: OSHA/HSE leadership, incident investigations, Lockout/Tagout, and safety program management.\nSupply Chain: Inventory control, supplier coordination, and material planning.\nProduction Planning: Capacity planning, scheduling, labor planning, and on-time delivery.\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience in automotive, aerospace, industrial, or specialty rubber product manufacturing.\nLean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification is a plus.\nKnowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SYSPRO and Oracle).\nWork Environment:\nManufacturing plant environment with exposure to machinery, heat, and noise.\nMay require occasional extended hours or weekend work during production peaks.\n\nCompensation & Benefits:\nCompetitive salary based on experience, $90k to $105k annually.\nComprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans.\nPaid time off and professional development opportunities.\nThis position is bonus eligible.\n\nEEO Statement:\nPolycorp U.S., LLC, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
