To that end, with support from and in partnership with the NYC Small Business Services (“SBS”), Hot Bread Kitchen will operate the First Course Line Cook Apprenticeship Program, preparing individuals for careers in NYC’s vibrant food sector.\nTHE OPPORTUNITY\nHot Bread Kitchen seeks a highly detailed and process-oriented Program Coordinator who will be responsible for ensuring data quality assurance, administrative, and operational support for our First Course Program, which prepares participants for restaurant line-cook positions. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional project management skills and is a self-starter, problem solver, and team player. This position collaborates with the First Course Team, including the Program Manager, Instruction team, and the Case Managers. This position reports up to the Program Evaluation and Data Manager.\nGENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES\nProgram Data Collection and Quality Control\nPartner with the Program Manager to ensure:\n100% of participants from each cohort completes their intake surveys and that the information is entered into Salesforce, Smartsheets, and Worksource1 in a timely manner. Follow up with members who have not submitted their intake surveys.\nMid- and post-program surveys are administered in a timely manner and data is entered into Salesforce and other SBS platforms in a timely manner. Follow up with participants who have not submitted their mid-program and post-program surveys.\nThe status of program participants is up-to-date and recorded in Salesforce\nFollow up with participants during their apprenticeship and employment to collect ongoing impact data.\nProgram outcomes are captured and recorded in SalesForce in a timely manner.\nSupport the preparation of data presentations for both internal and external meetings.\nProgram Support\nSupport the selection process by scheduling member assessments and following up to make sure they attend their interviews\nProvide day to day operational support which will include, but not be limited to\nClassroom setup, including kitchen set up, setting up computers and ensuring rooms have appropriate learning materials and that members have curriculum handouts\nAssisting with program supplies, including food orders, as well as filing expenses when needed\nGeneral organization and filing of important documents\nQUALIFICATIONS\nDriven by and have a belief in Hot Bread Kitchen’s values and mission\nDemonstrates exceptional project management skills with great attention to detail\nEffective multi-tasker and organizational skills, including prioritization skills\nExcellent time management skills\nExcellent written and verbal communications skills\nProactive, resourceful, and innovative with an entrepreneurial spirit\nQuick learner of systems, including SalesForce (previous experience with SalesForce a plus)\nThrives in a fast-paced and energetic team atmosphere with ambitious deadlines and the ability to take direction from multiple people\nGeneral computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google platforms, and productivity software\nLOCATION AND HOURS\nThis position requires regular in-person attendance at our facility in Chelsea Market. During each 8-week training period, working hours will call for evening hours. We follow New York City and State guidelines on COVID-19 vaccination and masking.\nCOMPENSATION\nThis is a full-time position. The salary range is $50,000 to $60,000 and is commensurate with experience.
