Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and implement technology solutions that ensure the seamless integration of applications, data, and interfaces.\nWork as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.\nDesign, develop, and enhance client-facing and internal applications, contribute to application architecture and technology solutions, and deliver technology tools that support NYS strategic initiatives.\nApply enterprise architecture standards and design principles to develop scalable applications that align with NYS business and technical requirements.\nUse multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations.\nProvide application support throughout the application lifecycle by resolving defects and implementing enhancements.\nParticipate in post-implementation incident resolution, as required.\nTranslation of the business requirement and use cases to develop enterprise applications and unit testing of same.\nWork with the technical leads and architects to transform the high- and low-level system design into technical components.\nDevelop applications Qualifications:\nMore than seven (7) years of experience working on complex projects with 2 or more years in a leadership role as a System Integration Engineer.\nMore than seven years of experience in software development of enterprise-level applications using JEE, JMS, WebServices and ORM such as JPA/Hibernate, with a minimum of two years supporting an Integrated Eligibility System (IES) program within a Health and Human Services environment.\nMore than five years of experience in developing applications using Spring API and frameworks including but not limited to Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Spring Boot and Spring REST.\nSeven or more years of experience implementing automated unit testing frameworks and developing applications using complex SQL queries against Oracle or MS SQL Server databases.\nFive or more years of experience developing Microservices-based applications and using CI/CD, source control, and build tools (i.e., Git, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory/Nexus).\nThree or more years of experience developing web applications using JSON/Angular.JS and MongoDB, with working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud), enterprise security (Okta, SSO, Active Directory), distributed technologies (Kafka, MuleSoft, Redis) and container platforms such as Red Hat
