SummaryCore Molding Technologies is hiring a Logistics Supervisor to oversee shipping, receiving, warehousing, and material flow operations.In this role, you’ll lead daily logistics activities, manage a team of logistics personnel, and ensure the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of materials. You’ll play a key role in meeting customer delivery expectations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and driving continuous improvement across logistics operations.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distributionLead, train, and develop logistics team members; manage performance and accountabilityEnsure on-time shipping performance aligned with customer schedules and service requirementsOversee accurate and timely processing of all shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions in ERP systemsEnsure materials are received, stored, and delivered to production in a timely mannerMaintain inventory accuracy through proper material control, cycle counts, and physical inventoriesCoordinate with Customer Service, Purchasing, and Production to align priorities and schedulesManage carrier relationships, scheduling, and dock activity to avoid delays and detention chargesMonitor compliance with federal, state, and local transportation and safety regulationsEnsure adherence to IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and internal proceduresPromote and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment (6S)Lead daily team meetings and drive performance against KPIsAnalyze logistics data and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costsResolve operational issues quickly to minimize disruption to production and customer deliveryQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field3+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain operationsAt least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experienceStrong knowledge of U.S. transportation regulations and compliance requirementsExperience with ERP, WMS, or logistics systems and Microsoft Office toolsStrong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentPreferredExperience in manufacturing, automotive, or industrial environmentsFamiliarity with Lean, 6S, FIFO, or continuous improvement practicesExperience with data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.)APICS, CSCMP, or similar supply chain certificationKey CompetenciesLeadership and team developmentExecution and accountabilityCustomer focus and sense of urgencyAnalytical thinking and problem-solvingCross-functional collaborationWhy Join UsLead a critical function supporting production and customer deliveryWork in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environmentOpportunity to drive process improvements and operational efficiencyCulture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvementRecruitersWe do not accept unsolicited resumes from third-party agencies.
