Third party candidates are not eligible for this role.Job Title: Data ModelerJob Location: Plano, TX.Job Type: HybridResponsibilitiesResponsible for building the tools and frameworks necessary to make our data teams more efficient and effectiveLead multiple large and complex initiatives across Toyota Financial Services data engineering with a specific focus on data modeling, data architecture, and data tool & product developmentEstablish a clear vision and direction for data tooling for data engineers, software engineers, and our analytic teamsEnable our data engineering teams by developing tools and frameworks to streamline and accelerate the development of data pipelines and data solutionsSupport our global partners by developing flexible solutions and platforms that can be used within Toyota Financial Services but also in partner organization in other countriesOwn the Enterprise data model and data modeling standards for both data engineering and software engineering teamsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent degree or work experienceProgressive work experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field or demonstrated expertiseDeep development experience in distributed, analytical, cloud-based and open-source technologiesExtensive programming experience in Python and/or Java, SQLExtensive experience coding and implementing data pipelines in cloud-based data infrastructure, analytical and no-SQL databases (AWS, Snowflake, MongoDB, Postgres)Broad, practical experience and application of multiple, different data modeling techniques such as data vault and dimensional modeling across Enterprise domainsBroad experience with cloud based services such as AWS, Azure or GCP or equivalent certificationBroad experience with docker and containerizationExperience with multiple database technologies including both SQL and NOSQL databasesWould you like to know more about this opportunity?
