You will work cross‑functionally with product management, engineering, supply chain, business development, and corporate development teams to identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage third‑party partners that complement Delta’s capabilities across the microgrid stack. This role sits at the intersection of technology, strategy, and execution.Key responsibilitiesOwn and drive engagement with third‑party technology, solution, and component partners required to deliver complete microgrid solutionsWork closely with product management and engineering teams to understand architectural needs, capability gaps, and integration requirements across the microgrid platformIdentify, qualify, and prioritize potential partners aligned with Delta’s roadmap and go‑to‑market strategyOrganize and lead technical due diligence, including architecture reviews, interoperability assessments, cybersecurity considerations, and product roadmap alignmentCoordinate internal stakeholders (engineering, product, quality, supply chain, legal, finance) to evaluate partner fit and readinessSupport the setup of commercial, supply, and strategic partner agreements, including defining scopes of responsibility, integration models, and governance structuresContribute to ecosystem strategy by tracking market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor partnerships in the microgrid domainSupport mergers & acquisitions activities, including target identification, technical and strategic diligence, and post‑deal integration planningEstablish clear processes and metrics for managing partner performance over timeQualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Power Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field7+ years of experience in microgrids, distributed energy resources (DER), power systems, energy storage, grid automation, or related industrial/energy technology domainsDemonstrated experience working with or managing technology partners, suppliers, or ecosystem programs in complex, multi‑vendor environmentsStrong technical understanding of microgrid architectures, including management software, control systems, generation assets, energy storage, and protection systemsAbility to bridge technical depth with business judgment, including comfort participating in commercial and partnership discussionsExperience supporting technical due diligence for partnerships, joint development, or M&A activities is strongly preferredExcellent cross‑functional collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with engineering, product, and executive stakeholdersStrong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and drive them to resolutionBenefit at Delta Electronics Americas: Life at DeltaEEO Statement: Delta Electronics Americas is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
