Service Manager/Technical Supervisor

We're looking for a hands-on lawn care service leader who knows how to lead lawn technicians, manage daily production, and deliver consistent service quality in a fast-paced, seasonal environment. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in lawn care, pest control, landscaping, or another route-based service industry and is ready to step into (or continue growing in) a leadership position.As the Technical Supervisor, you'll lead the day-to-day operations of our service department with a strong focus on technician development, service quality, and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:Interview, hire, lead, coach, and develop lawn care technicians through hands-on field leadership, ride-alongs, and ongoing trainingOversee daily production routes, route efficiency, and workload distributionEnsure service quality, proper application techniques, calibration, and compliance with all product labels and regulationsHandle and resolve escalated customer concerns related to service quality or technician performanceRecruit, train, schedule, evaluate, and retain techniciansEnsure all service vehicles, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and ready for daily operationsTrack and report on production metrics, service quality trends, and team performanceWork closely with the General Manager to improve operational efficiency and support company growthThis is an active leadership role that balances time in the field with planning, coaching, and operational oversight. What we're looking for:Strong leadership and communication skillsAbility to coach, motivate, and hold technicians accountableComfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven service environmentOrganized, solution-oriented, and adaptable to changing weather and seasonal demandsBasic computer skills (Microsoft Office or similar tools)Experience & Credentials:23 years of leadership experience in lawn care, landscaping, or a related service industry strongly preferredExperience managing crews, routes, or technicians in the field is highly valuedValid driver's license requiredPesticide Applicator License (or willingness to obtain)Education:Post-secondary education or equivalent hands-on industry experienceWhy Weed Man?
