All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Saracen Casino Resort policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.\nEssential Functions and Responsibilities\nMaintain a consistent high level of cleanliness and guest service.\nMaintain cleanliness of all back of the house area.\nCompleting simple tasks such sweeping, moping, wiping down any area (walls, counter tops), and taking the trash and boxes out, utilizing kitchen equipment.\nMust be able to read and follow check lists.\nEnsure that all kitchen equipment is clean before and after using.\nCommunicate with co-workers respectfully and follow direction from superiors.\nAdheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner\nOutstanding example of and a credit to Saracen Casino Resort\nProvides exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times. Maintains a professional work environment with supervisors and staff.\nMeets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.\nAttends all necessary training meetings.\nAssist in other projects, as directed.\nDuties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by 24-hour schedule.\nQualifications/Requirements\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.\nMust be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment.\nHigh school diploma or acceptable equivalent preferred.\nSome previous experience in a kitchen environment\nTeam Player\nMust present a well-groomed and professional appearance.\nMust possess excellent communication skills.\nMust be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.\nAbility to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.\nMust have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.\nMust have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.\nMust be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.\nWork nights, weekends and holidays as required.\nEmployment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening\n\nPHYSICAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT DEMANDS\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
