Trajectory works with communities across the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic to develop community solar and utility scale solar projects. This position will focus on (i) company operations, (ii) supporting our development team by identifying and evaluating potential solar project sites, (iii) and generally supporting the due diligence, financing and development of solar projects.\r\nSpecific Responsibilities\r\nPrimary responsibilities\r\nLeverage ArcGIS to 1) identify potential solar project sites, 2) create maps, reports, and presentations to summarize a potential project's development, and 3) maintain internal databases of priority sites and target areas.\r\nSupport initial outreach to landowners involved in our projects, including targeted mailings.\r\nAssist in the due diligence of potential projects from a resource, environmental, permitting, land, constructability, cost, community receptivity, and interconnection perspective.\r\nAssist with development efforts such as creation of land agreement processing and permit preparation.\r\nAdditional responsibilities\r\nParticipate in the preparation of proposals and presentations that are submitted to landowners, potential commercial off-takers, governmental authorities and financing parties.\r\nResearch policy, incentives, construction code, competitive landscape, etc. for various markets.\r\nRepresent Trajectory at trade group and advocacy meetings and community events.\r\nGeneral administrative support and office management responsibilities.\r\nExperience and Background\r\nConfirmed ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams.\r\nStrong organizational skills and ability to meet frequently changing deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.\r\nStrong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Suite.\r\nProficient experience with ArcGIS and Google Earth is required.\r\nExperience with Airtable, Salesforce, or other database and/or CRM software preferred.\r\nExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex technical, legal, and financial subjects into commercial practicality.\r\nExperience managing and tracking high volumes of information and documents including use of Microsoft Office and online data management tools such as Box.\r\nExperience in project management preferred.\r\nKnowledge of energy or renewable energy development is preferred.\r\nBenefits\r\nHealth, dental, and vision insurance contributions\r\nProfessional Development Stipend\r\nAccess to company 401k plus 401k employer match\r\nPaid Vacation, Sick, and Wellbeing days\r\nPosition based in the Chicago area.
