SAP PP/DS Consultant – S/4HANA ePPDS TransformationLocation: Remote (EU-based candidates only)Contract Length: 12 MonthsLanguage: English required, German beneficialStart: ASAPRole OverviewWe are supporting a leading manufacturing client in Germany undergoing a major SAP S/4HANA transformation programme. They are seeking an experienced SAP PP/DS Consultant to support the migration and optimisation from classic PPDS to embedded PPDS (ePPDS) within S/4HANA.This is a long-term remote contract opportunity focused on manufacturing planning transformation, solution design, configuration, and business process optimisation across production planning and detailed scheduling functions.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the end-to-end transformation from SAP PPDS to embedded PPDS (ePPDS) within S/4HANAGather business requirements and translate them into SAP PP/DS solutionsConfigure and optimise PP/DS planning processes, heuristics, scheduling, and capacity planningCollaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and IT stakeholders across the programme lifecycleSupport integration activities with related SAP modules including PP, APO, IBP, and S/4HANA componentsParticipate in workshops, testing, cutover, and deployment activitiesProvide functional expertise and best practice guidance throughout the transformation programmeSupport issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives post-deploymentRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong SAP PP/DS consulting experience within manufacturing environmentsProven experience working on S/4HANA transformation programmesHands-on experience with embedded PPDS (ePPDS)Experience with SAP APO PP/DS migration or transformation projectsStrong understanding of production planning, detailed scheduling, and manufacturing processesAbility to work independently within international remote teamsStrong stakeholder communication skills in EnglishNice to HaveExperience with SAP aATPGerman language skillsExperience within large-scale European manufacturing organisationsKnowledge of SAP IBP integration
