This includes, but is not limited to, safety, quality, scope, staffing, financial management, schedule management, material management, risk management, project deliverables, and the overall client relationship.\r\nJob Duties and Responsibilities Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and guide a team of technical experts, including Field Engineers, Technicians, and other support staff to ensure cohesive teamwork and efficient project execution. Foster a collaborative and empowering work environment to maximize productivity and creativity.\r\nTechnical Strategy: Collaborate with Program Management to define the technical vision and strategy for the program. Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement for technology processes and tools.\r\nResource Allocation: Effectively allocate resources across projects to optimize productivity and achieve project milestones.\r\nTechnical Expertise: Keep up to date on emerging technologies and industry trends. Provide technical guidance and expertise to the project team to overcome challenges and maintain technical excellence.\r\nProject Status Updates: Maintain project status reports for program projects and report weekly to the Program Manager. Track critical project milestones and ensure commissioning is properly completed.\r\nProject Test Results: Maintain a comprehensive test result management program in accordance with IES standards and the customer's requirements. Ensure that all testing equipment used is maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines and customer's specifications. Ensure proper maintenance and auditing of test result files.\r\nStaff Training: Develop a field staff training plan using IES and manufacturer training courses and certifications. Recommend specific training courses for field staff and document all completed training and certifications.\r\nProcess Improvement: Continuously develop and improve processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency, productivity, and product quality.\r\nStakeholder Communication: Coordinate ongoing communication between clients, stakeholders, and other cross-functional teams to understand the requirements, communicate project progress, and to manage expectations.\r\nPerformance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members, providing feedback on areas of improvement, and recognizing outstanding achievements.\r\nOther responsibilities as assigned.\r\nSalary Min: USD $115,000.00 per year\r\nMax: USD $130,000.00 per year\r\nQualifications Physical and Mental Requirements\r\nMust be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional, and lead others to create, develop, and implement project process improvements.\r\nMust promote the culture and mission of IES, as well as program objectives, to all employees, vendors, clients, and business partners.\r\nMust have proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and the ability to effectively read, write, and give oral presentations.\r\nMust have proven high-level skills to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to scope, specifications, reporting, and quality metrics.\r\nMust be able to travel within branch territory and/or regional territory as needed.\r\nMust have the ability to learn Company and customer project management systems.\r\nMust be able to successfully secure and maintain a Company-sponsored American Express credit card.\r\nEducation, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements Must possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.\r\nMust have experience in customer interactions and General Contractor interactions.\r\nMust have a minimum of five (5) years of supervisory or managerial experience.\r\nMust have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the telecommunications industry.\r\nMust be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Project).\r\nMust meet Company minimum driving standards.\r\nMust be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.\r\nMust have demonstrated and verifiable ability to create and manage a project schedule, scope of work, and detailed associated tasks from project initiation through final completion and customer turnover.\r\nMinimum Years of Experience: 6+ years\r\nLicense Required: No\r\nMinimum Education: High School\r\nCompany Overview IES is a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services to a variety of end markets, including electrical, mechanical and communications contracting solutions for the commercial, industrial, residential and renewable energy markets.
