Includes a company truck. Schedule will be 5/10's.Project SupervisorSupervise SIPA work including but not limited to scaffolding, asbestos and lead abatement, installing industrial insulation systems and coatings.Specific duties and responsibilities:Strong background in industrial insulation systems and methods, scaffolding background, asbestos supervisor rollMust have current South Carolina AHERA supervisor license. Certification training/refresher can be arranged.Working knowledge of paint and coatings a plusCut and remove asbestos according to project specifications.Must have experience in glove bagging procedures.Must be able to erect full containment following regulatory guidelines.Complete order forms for materials and equipment needed for projects.Must have experience cutting methods including hand tools and powered sheet metal equipment.Must have knowledge of hazardous waste management.Ensure all demolition is clean, complete, and ready to build.Adhere to all Austin safety requirements, and all state, OSHA, and environmental regulations.Must be able to perform work wearing personnel protective equipment. Including but not limited to the following: rain gear, chemical protective clothing, supplied air and air purifying respirators, safety harness, sand blast hoods, fire resistant coveralls, hard hat, ear plugs and safety glasses.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body, able to reach overhead, able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, squatting; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; work at heights; balance for extended periods of time.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications required for this position:Education: no minimum education requirements.Experience: 5 years of experience as a supervisor in SIPA fieldPer diem of $85 paid for days workedIncludes company truck.Schedule 5/10's.Must have EPA, OSHA and local hazardous materials policy knowledgeMust pass pre-employment physical, drug screening and background check, as condition of employment.Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.
